Take the Risk
I'm not used to this,
I'm not the kind to fall.
I never jump from this height,
And I never really move from my solitary perch,
Not even when someone says they'll catch me.
{Even though I can always land on my feet}
I'm not used to this,
But for some reason,
You fascinate me,
And I couldn't be more content,
Sitting here with you.
You hold me so closely,
So softly,
It's comfortable.
Yet every time you try and convince me to take the jump,
I run back up to the safety of my corner,
Not looking back no matter how much you call.
You say you'd never drop me,
You promise that you wont ever hurt me,
You swear that you want me, noth
